The POTAMAX has been designed for medium size collectivities up to a maximum nominal flow of 50 m3/h. The water is treated in 4 different stages : |
|
1. coagulation/flocculation caused by a fast stirring of the mix
medium/coagulant |
|
2. settling |
|
3. disinfection by addition of a strong oxidizer before or after
filtration |
|
4. filtration of the pre-cleared water by a sand filter which collects all residual solids. |

The POTAMAX is a system which treats water (from either surface or ground) in order to meet the fresh water EEC regulations. |
